- Description: This work is one of thirteen large scale drawings created by Alan McGowan over a period of eighteen months for the 'Faust' exhibition - a modern interpretation of Goethe's classic text. The exhibition was produced with the help of the University of Northumbria, at Newcastle and was shown in the University of Northumbria Gallery in 1999, Edinburgh University Matthew Gallery, and at the European Illustration Collection Gallery in Hull in 2000.
