- Description: Exhibited in an exhibition entitled 'Under Mined' at the University in 2017, the artist says: This work acted as an allegory for time with in the exhibition. It was a study I made from photographs of female textile works migrating to the US at the turn of the 20th century. This image has a hard bitten quality but it is an image full of knowing. Its stoicism expresses a character found throughout mining communities for me one of determination and under representation.
