- Description: The artist Baillie Brown says 'My interest in modelling the work stems from a radio-documentary programme made by my grand-daughter Esme Rankin, on her Film and Media course at the University of Stirling [the programme was subsequently awarded The Jonathan Witchell Memorial Prize in 2012]. The subject of the programme was the story of the legendary Stirling Wolf. I was intrigued by the seeming apathy for such a disarming legend as revealed in the programme and decided to work on a sculpture of the 'Wolf' myself'.
