- Description: The artist says, speaking of the art work: 'Youth Hostelling up the West Coast of Scotland, walking the moors and the rocky sea shore and observing the rock faces of cliffs' had an influence. And 'carving and eating away the surface of a smooth plate with acid in different layers is akin to the effects weather has on a cliff or the sea upon the seashore'.
