- Description: A drawing which formed part of a set of designs for a cocktail bar which won the Glasgow School of Art‘s Brough Memorial Prize for interior design in 1934. One of McLaren‘s teachers at the School of Art recalled that he produced ‘fantastic schemes for interior decoration, furniture and goodness knows what else.‘ His multi-sensory cocktail bar incorporated multi-coloured smoke fountains, scents and sound.
