- Description: Of this work, inspired by the poem 'The Tree House' by Kathleen Jamie (in 'The Tree House' volume of poetry), the artist says 'this is symbolic of the necessity of keeping a creative space in one's psyche, an 'elsewhere', beyond the reach of those aspects of the everyday which press so urgently on the creative life'. Exhibited in the "an attitude of mind" exhibition at The Pathfoot Gallery, in The University of Stirling in 2010. The exhibition celebrated the appointment of Kathleen Jamie to the Chair of Creative Writing at Stirling University.
