Black Lace
- Artist:
- Type: Painting
- Medium: Gouache
- Production Date: 1951
- Description: Anne Redpath is best known for her still lifes and interiors, often with added textural interest, and also with the slightly forward-tilted table top, of which this painting is a good example. Although this work is largely monochrome it retains the interest the artist has in fabric and textiles - the depiction of the lace is enhanced by the restrained pallete.
