Winter Trees, Glasgow
- Artist:
- Type: Painting
- Medium: Oil on canvas
- Production Date: 1956
- Description: This work was painted soon after Morrison graduated from art school. It seems unusual for this artist, who is now so renowned for wide Scottish horizons and cloudscapes, but in fact is typical of his earlier work, which focussed on his surroundings in his home town of Glasgow. This work reflects his committment to the principle that the artist should paint the environment he inhabits.
