- Description: This piece was created in 10 days from a piece of soapstone brought from Canada during the 'Totems' project at the MacRobert Arts Centre, University of Stirling. It was made using a set of tiny files, rasps, chisels and sandpaper. Once modelled, it was rinsed repeatedly in soapy and then clear water during the polishing process. It was then gifted to the MacRobert as a gift from the Inuit peoples of Canada. The artist was 22 years old when he made this.
