- Description: In a 2019 conversation with the artist conducted by Jane Cameron the Curator, Norman Ackroyd says that he created two etchings of Millbank Tower, one purchased by the Art Collection from the Compass Gallery in Glasgow, the other is in the artist's archive. Ackroyd says "the Millbank Tower fascinated me, especially the way the morning light coming from the east would cast this shadow on everything.‘ Speaking about the difference in light on a summer morning and the dark in the winter he says: ‘It would be an entirely different thing, but it‘s the same building.‘
