- Description: After an extended funded trip to the USA in 1966, where artists such as Barnett Newman and Frank Stella made a particular impression, Cina began painting minimal ‘colour-field‘ works. The MH series, which he began in 1969, features angled lines in paired colour combinations against a constant vertical notation. There are several other MH paintings in public collections in the UK.
