June Carey studied at both Glasgow School of Art (1960-62) and Edinburgh College of Art (1978-82). She joined Edinburgh Printmakers in 1982 where discovering etching brought about a turning-point in her work and career. She has exhibited widely and is the recipient of many awards. There are two works by this artist in the Art Collection (2014.14) Stardust Wishes and (2011.6) A Change is Approaching

27.34-Art is a personal journey
28.22-she tried every medium to try and discover her style. Coincidentally, she started with etching and found her niche.
