Art in general: taught it, used it as a job, sold it for people to enjoy
Influences: Matisse, surrounding artists, tutors at college
Contemporaries: very much influences each other
Stirling Art Collection: benefits of having art around while studying.
Schools, hospitals, therapeutic, offices - staff, workforce.
Red Studio: series of nude models, Matisse based, a few in the series.
Current catalogue: Yellow Studio (Scottish Gallery); Boats and Floats (1960s)
Interested in Scottish subject matter.
Didn't have much art up in own house.
Fellowship from ECA - stay abroad in Florence and Sicily
Norway for a couple of months - grant from Norwegian government
Taught a little bit in Malta (minimal)
