Duncan Shanks (1937 – )
View all Artists- Biography: Duncan Shanks RSA was born in Airdrie and studied at Glasgow School of Art. After a period spent in Italy on a travelling scholarship he returned to Glasgow and joined the staff of GSA. His first solo exhibition was hosted by the University of Stirling in 1974. He lives in Lanarkshire and now paints full-time.
