Lindsay Moverley (1947 – 2011)
View all Artists- Biography: Born in Falkirk, Lindsay Thomas Moverley studied Drawing and Painting at Glasgow School of Art (1965-69) when the college was thriving with creativity, hope and plans for a colourful modern world. He cited Kandinsky, De Kooning, Matisse, Bonnard as early influences and in Scotland, Alan Davie. He was a family man, an artist and a teacher. Lindsay’s respect for young people was clear to those who worked with him. He encouraged and inspired within Falkirk schools for over thirty years.
