Margaret Hunter (1948 – )

Biography: Born in Irvine, Margaret Hunter studied as a mature student at Glasgow School of Art 1981-85 (where her teachers included Sandy Moffat and Barbara Rae) and then under Professor Georg Baselitz at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin. She is a regular guest tutor at GSA, has also been a visiting lecturer at ECA and Duncan of Jordanstone, Dundee and she lives and works in Berlin and Scotland. She has exhibited extensively both in Germany and the UK
