Sara Greenwood

Biography: Sara is a Scottish abstract artist based in Bridge of Allan. She graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design with a first class honours degree in printed textile design. Since graduating she has shown her work in exhibitions, art fairs and fashion shows. She primarily works in gouache and oil pastel, although frequently incorporates a variety of mediums to create artwork with depth and fluidity. Her inspiration stems from nature and personal memories. The majority of her work reflects a specific time and personal feelings. Through bold strokes and carefully blended colour she creates expressive visuals conveying these moments in time. This is in the hope that it will evoke a similar emotion in those that view her work.
