Catherine Froy (1957 – )

Biography: Born in Box, Wiltshire and brought up in Somerset, Catherine Froy studied at Goldsmiths College and the Slade School of Fine Art in London specialising in painting. After two years of postgraduate study she was awarded the Boise Travelling Scholarship and went to the west coast of Canada and the US. She moved to Scotland in 1989 with a small grant from the EAS and made designs for stained glass. Later, after a move to Stirling, she returned to painting and started to exhibit.
