View all Artists- Biography: Born near Fraserburgh in Aberdeenshire into a fishing family, John Gardiner Crawford attended Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen (1959-1964). Now resident in Arbroath, he mainly favours subject matter involving the surrounding working landscape of Scotland’s East Coast fishing and farming communities.
