Fionna Carlisle (1954 – )

Biography: Born in Wick, Fionna Carlisle studied at Edinburgh College of Art 1972-6. She has an international reputation and has painted numerous portraits including a recent diverse series of people involved in the Scottish oil industry. She divides her time between Scotland and Crete where she has had a studio since the 1980s.
