Dorothy Black (1963 – )
View all Artists- Biography: Born in Forfar near Dundee, Dorothy Black studied at the Edinburgh College of Art (1981 – 85) followed by a post graduate diploma (1985 – 86). She has since participated in many group and solo exhibitions within the UK and America.
Her work is characterised by strong draughtsmanship and powerful imagery, concentrating in the main on the female figure.
